It will require some not so dental extensive procedure, but ones that arent too costly with most of the cost being covered by insurance. The Patients Autonomy basically states that patients can make their own decisions regarding their health based on their values and goals. While the patients mother can agree with her sons choice to pull the tooth, and they do have the right to do this, the dentist should be persistent in trying to explain why keeping the tooth is so important.

Given the history of the patient, a situation like this is bound to happen over and over again if it is not taken care of now. He is in an environment where he eats unhealthy foods which are not good for the health of his teeth.
