Of all the freedoms there are, it seems that the freedom to think or intellectual freedom poses the greatest threats to those who like to control freedoms of people. Freedom of movement, assembly and speech are physical manifestations of freedom and those who engaged in it can simply be quieted or locked up. But those who chose to exercise their intellectual freedom are harder to stop because the exercise of which can go unnoticed, in people's minds and even spirits. To lock up or imprison the ability of a person or people to acquire information, knowledge and idea is something no power could ever or has ever done. Unless of course those that chose to exercise intellectual freedom are rendered insane or mentally damage, then they have no means of exercising intellectual freedom.
But what really is intellectual freedom? At its basic, intellectual freedom is one of the universal rights of humankind to access information, knowledge and ideas. The access thereof is both physical and mental whereby the former can be in the form of access to a library, school,
