Aside from having done and still doing the core teaching competency, I managed to be part of the research, development, management and administration of various plans, projects and programs in pedagogy that in both small and large ways contributed to the advancement of the field.
Despite my having been involved in education, I am also an accomplished photojournalist and have travelled to some very interesting places where I captured the images of peoples in their countries and in the conditions they are in. I was able to immortalize in photos their bliss, anger, hope, despair and whatever human emotions that appears in given situations. The lessons I learned while doing photojournalism are invaluable since I am able to use part of my experience in my teaching profession. I found the experience helpful especially when I provide, develop and manage training for staff on effective teaching and learning because I am able to give real world scenarios on how education systems are in less developed part of the world. By being able to make comparisons and seeing the shortcomings in the education system in other countries, the teachers I mentor can come up with
