Objective

At the end of this lesson, all the students should be able to'

Ask as well as answer questions using future tense

Discuss the future events as well as possibilities using the auxiliary verb "will"

Discuss the future of their families, communities as well as nation

Duration per presentation: 45 minutes.

The teacher tells an interesting story on what he will do on upon his return to the U.S. He then asks his students certain questions that are related to the story as well as what they will do upon returning to their communities. A calendar will be used to indicate that the events will take place in the future

The community to be used is the one within which the course is taking place.

Presentation B

If the students have already grasped the idea, then the teacher can introduce contractions of future tense and verbs such as;

I'll =I will

You'll =You will

He'll= He will etc.

Production 1

After this presentation B, each student will be asked to answer the question "What will your community be like in 15-year?." The students will be required to write at least 10 sentences. The response will then be presented to the class for discussions.

Production 2:

The teacher will then as questions with the verb will and then ask for responses. The teacher will then ask the students to correctly repeat the questions since they will now know how to elicit the correct responses.
