Poverty will have a negative effect on development. This is from the lack of opportunities for advancements in many regions will force an individual to become involved in illegal activities. At the same time, the inability to have access to critical financial resources will mean that they have poor levels of health (which is affecting the standard of living and life expectancy rates). Conclusion
Clearly, poverty is having a negative impact on communities, society and economic development. This is from the lack of resources affecting the levels of health, mental stability and the way that someone sees the world around them. Moreover, these environments encourage an individual to become involved in illegal activities. These areas are troubling, as this will destroy the morals and values of society.
It will also have an impact, on the person's ability to earn a decent standard of living. This is the point that productivity will decrease from them engaging in activities that do not help to improve economic conditions. Instead, they only make the situations worse. This will have a lasting effect on society by creating a never ending cycle that is not broken, until more resources are utilized in dealing with these problems.
