Simmons' rock star lifestyle and excessive wealth are definitely not normal for most Americans, and reality shows are often scripted. Since they aren't really "reality" as they claim, they're just another created or fabricated show that's designed to pull in ratings. A typical US family lives a much more mundane lifestyle when compared to Simmons and his family.
