Personal Statement
From an early age, I have had this intense desire to succeed and make a positive contribution towards making the world a better place not only for myself but for the future generations as well. I am convinced that for me to make informed and meaningful contributions towards self-fulfillment as well as societal progress, attending graduate school is of the essence. It is with this in mind that I seek admission at Colorado State University.
I recognize that in a word that is increasingly becoming a global village; the ability to interact with people from all walks of life is critical. In the past, I have held various leadership positions that called for my ability to relate with people from diverse backgrounds and I hope to bring such experiences in regard to embracing diversity to Colorado State University while seeking to gain from the University's diverse student body. Previously, I have worked with Consumer choice Reality, inc. As an office manager where shortly after joining the entity; I was responsible for a wide range of functions including the facilitation of communication with brokers, agents as well as buyers and sellers. Further, I was also responsible for inspecting and proofreading documents and coordination as well as presentation of all the daily activities of the entity to the owner. If my application gains acceptance, I hope to build on the global awareness and leadership skills I obtained at Consumer Choice Reality, Inc.
It can be noted that I apply for a place at Colorado State University while fully aware of the Institution's global citizenship as well as environmental stewardship which are also issues of special interest to me. In the past, I have volunteered for Tree City USA in Orland Hills in a number of projects and events. I also have a soft spot for communal well-being and development and in that regard; I occasionally coach the little league basketball just as a way of making a small contribution towards the development of others.
