Program Utilizing Meta Analysis
Qualitative research evaluation technique is primarily inductive. The hypothesis is developed as the study progresses so that it can capture the setting of the study. Qualitative research evaluation technique involves systematic and detailed study of population in natural setting and is not contrived by the person conducting the study. This technique involves the interviewer using open-ended questions intended to explore detailed accounts of the interviewee's perspectives on research issues, situations, or events. This technique employs data as words including open-ended questions, written observational descriptions of activities and conversations. The objective of qualitative research evaluation is to understand a phenomenon from the points-of-view of the study population. The advantage of this qualitative method is data accuracy, making the data authentic without misleading outcomes. In addition, the method uses techniques with accuracy level that minimize data redundancy and incorrectness. On the other hand, the major disadvantage is that validity threats are addressed primarily during data collection and analysis.
International Humanitarian Programs
The International Humanitarian Foreign Aid to Haiti failed due to several factors. The constraints have been poor governance, lack of accountability and political wrangles. The ever present political turmoil in Haiti has made it difficult for Haitians to benefit from the foreign aid pumped into their country. In addition, lack of government support for foreign assistance has contributed to aid ineffectiveness in Haiti (The National Academy of Public Administration, 2006). On the other hand, The International Humanitarian Medicine program of 2009 in Thailand was a great success to both the organizers and participants. This humanitarian aid was a success since the country's residents gave support to the foreigners to provide them with the much needed medical aide. The beneficiaries of the project; the poor and disadvantaged citizens live in a peaceful country leading to the success of the initiative (Georgia Health Sciences University, 2012).
Newborn Genetics Policies in Tennessee
A genetics policy in Tennessee was instituted to coordinate genetics service with other programs for infant requiring special health care needs. The plan aimed at integrating the state's Newborn Genetic Screening (NBS) Program and other genetic services with Information Technology. This program was implemented in Tennessee to monitor children's access to medical care and as well track their health status identified by NBS and other programs for infants suffering from genetic conditions. This policy was proposed by the state's Newborn Screening Task Force and of the Agenda for Healthy People 2010. The plan is of benefit to the state since it would ensure that medical doctors provide required care, diagnosis and treatments to infants suffering from genetic diseases such as sickle cell anemia among others. The program further will ensure families are enlightened in advocating for and getting health and related services for children at risk of chronic physical illnesses (Department of Health and Human Services, 2003).
