¶ … intended major is ____, this has been an area that has always interested me, and I look forward to the opportunity to advance my knowledge in this field of study further. I have always been an individual that strives for perfection and gives all aspects of my life one hundred percent. This determination continues through my life now and in college in the future. I have been fortunate enough to participate in the following clubs and/or activities____. These have allowed me a more in depth look into my chosen field in more ways than might be readily understood. I have learned that along with success there is failure. However a failure is not that, it is a lesson that helps one to re attack from a different perspective with more insight and determination making the possible outcome more favorable the next time around. Furthermore, I am able to acknowledge that one must be committed to any endeavor unless one wants to be defeated. Nothing comes easy and hard work does pay off in the end. Honestly I have to say that when there has been something I have had to work hard for finally comes into fruition I appreciate it so much more. Then I am able to look at how far I have come and be proud of where I have been and the direction in which I am going. I have truly gained an appreciation for what it takes to advance in the world, be it in schoolwork or one's personal life.
