¶ … people grow older, they become increasingly likely to die. Statistics show that death is more common in older people than it is in younger ones. This is an important subject that should be researched further because controlling aging may be the single most important contributing factor in saving lives. Introduction great deal of research has been conducted on why people die because it is one of the most potent weaknesses of the human race.

When faced with death, humans are as helpless as any other creature on the planet. The question must be asked: why do people die? Certainly, when a soldier is killed in battle, or when a gas station attendant is shot during a robbery, the cause of death is obvious. However, many people die from what are considered to be natural causes every day. It seems from every day observations that more elderly people are dying than...

Upon looking into the statistics, it can be found that in fact there is a correlation between age and death.
Problems statement and significance

The problem in question here is that there is a correlation between age and death rates. As a person grows older, he or she becomes increasingly likely to die. This is a significant issue because everyone is aging. Heart Disease and cancer are both considered to be very serious problems because they affect such a large number of people. However, it seems possible that the deaths caused by these diseases do not compare to the deaths caused by aging! Every person is aging, and therefore everyone is at risk of death. Therefore this is a significant problem that affects everyone.

Goals and objectives

The goal of this project is to show that everyone is getting older and therefore…

References

There are a great number of sources that reveal people are more likely to die as they get older. Birth and death records, and also medical records, would be primary sources.

Badget and Justification

This is important because not enough scientific research is being put into stopping aging. Much research is being done towards fighting cancer and AIDS, but aging seems to be a major contributing factor to death, which if independently controlled might be able to cause less deaths.

The three major phases of human life is birth, adulthood and death. Among these three major phases, aging is the process that a person encounters after he crosses the boundaries of adulthood. One very important thing about aging is that it is very subjective is nature. It is contingent

Aging The social issue in which I am interested is how the aging of society will affect the way that we view the elderly. The idea here is that population growth via the baby boom created a generation that had the economic means -- by virtue of the ratio of working age people to elderly -- to remain at a distance from the elderly. The textbook describes how this generation (and

Aging, particularly the discrimination against the elderly, is inextricably linked with the field of sociology because it affects the way in which humans behave. Moreover, it is an important social issue because societal attitudes toward aging inform the construction of social institutions. The plight of the elderly is often overlooked in favor of other underrepresented groups, but an analysis of media, politics, and other social constructs reveals that there the

This is particularly difficult in the age of managed care when assessments and interventions are geared toward brief treatment for presenting problems. However, being able to ask the right questions regarding veteran status as well as identify trauma that was experienced and how the individual has re-integrated

Aging Process: Gains and Losses The adult senior population in the United States is growing at an unprecedented rate. In fact, the general population in the country is aging and both public and private elderly care providers need to make adjustments in order to be able to serve this growing population. Furthermore, many government and private industries are affected by this growing population, due to their prevalence in virtually all markets,
