Clearly, there are some alternatives that can be implemented within NAFTA to include: the enactment and enforcement of environmental / safety regulations. This will ensure that any kind of economic growth is taking into account the views of stakeholders and the negative impact that this is having on them. Once this occurs, is when there will be more of an emphasis on helping to expand the economy by taking these different views into account.
