¶ … American adolescents interpret non-commercial films that were created by participants in the VideoCulture Project. The study was conducted by having youths participate in viewing and commenting on 12 films. Generally, the study focuses on the question of what aspects in the films that the participants viewed make them sensible. By having discussions on each participant's analysis on each film, the study aims to analyse and find out the important aspects that young people considers when evaluating films.
