The group selected is a nuclear family comprising of parents and a male child who is obese (William).
What made you select this particular group?
The group was chosen owing to the unhealthy lifestyle of its members. It offers an adequately controllable setting in which to implement and test plan effectiveness. Further, one can deal with this group's numerous issues one-by-one by employing small measurable outcomes. Such an approach reduces key threatening issues gradually.
What portion of the plan would you like to implement in the small group?
The first part of this plan would entail dealing with Imbalanced Nutrition: i.e., more nutrition than the body actually needs. Nutrition is crucial for the human body, and for proper functioning of all bodily systems. It is imperative to have a balanced diet, as one's tissues and organs require sufficient nutrition in order to work properly. Without appropriate nutrition, the human body becomes more susceptible to fatigue, poor performance, diseases, and infections. Kids eating an unhealthy diet are at risk of weak academic performance and growth, and development issues. Bad dietary habits can well continue into adulthood and become lifelong habits.
