And, having learnt more about plagiarism and the essence of citing other people's work, atop being in my 2nd year of college studies, I had to find a way of doing this the easiest way. After a search on Google, I came across several automated bibliography generators and picked RefME. RefME is an app used globally to automatically generate bibliographies and lists of references for papers.

It is the number one tool for creating citations worldwide and available for Android phones on Google play or the web www.RefME.com. Upon downloading this app into my smartphone, I had to play around with it, learning how it works. I loved the whole experience and was able to generate reference lists for my assignment paper in no time. Do I need to say my lecturer loved my citations, thanks to the app. There are many things I loved about this citation app.

It works by scanning journal barcodes or books, using the phone's camera, in order to generate citations. In case there's no barcode available on a particular journal, book, or even article, the app makes searches using ISBN, the title of the article or journal, URL or even DOI. When I had to cite certain sites in my paper, all I had to do is paste its URL into the app, and it worked just fine.

Although the app supports more than 7,000 citation styles, such as Chicago, AMA, MLA and APA, my paper demanded the use of the latter referencing style. I was also able to add some notes in my citations within the app, and exported the bibliography through my email directly to Microsoft Office Word. However, there was also the option of exporting through Evernote. RefME helped me a lot, especially since it's easy to use because of its user-friendly interface.
