Wildlife management student with show goat breeding ambitions
¶ … attending Tarleton State University in the Fall Semester 2015 and will be studying Wildlife Management and will be seeking to attain a degree in Wildlife Management.
My future plans upon attaining my degree in Wildlife Management are to operate a show goat breeding operation.
Previous Education
My previous education includes Veterinary Medical Applications, Agricultural Facilities Design and Fabrication, Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies, and Principles of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. My applied experience includes seven goat ownership projects between the years of 2011 and 2014.
FFA Involvement and Leadership
Included in my FFA Involvement and Leadership are participation in Area FFA Competitions in 2014, participation in Chapter FFA Competitions in 2014, and participation in five Invitational FFA Competitions in 2014. Additionally, in 2014 I was Chapter President for FFA and in 2013, I was Chapter Vice President for FFA. I additionally participated in four District FFA Competitions between the year of 2011 and 2013.
Community Service Involvement
My community service involvement include Home and Garden show of 2014, Angel Tree and Optimist Club Haunted House in 2013, and Spook and Spoke in 2012. I am a member of Grace Church and have contributed to my community through various volunteer projects.
Accomplishments
Included among my accomplishments are successful showing in the 2014 Fort Worth Livestock show in which I won 2nd in Class 4 Market Goal as well as other successful showings over the years. I was awarded the Benny Clark Leadership and Service Award in 2014. I am a member of a cycling team and goal oriented and committed to my educational and personal visions.
