¶ … BEE-KEEPER AND THE BEES/PARAPHRASED very thoughtful and considerate beekeeper took really good care of his bees

The beekeeper always maintained the hives and secured a place for the bees. He only extracted the honey he though he would need, leaving enough for the bees.

A sneaky thief caused the bees to turn on their caregiver.

He waited for the beekeeper to leave, and all of the bees were away from their hives collecting pollen.

The thief was not only selfish but also very destructive. Not only did he take all of the honey available, he destroyed all of the hives.

The distraught beekeeper was very upset when he saw what had happened.

Being very concerned and he really loved his bees; he was very worried about his bee's home and survival. He said, "What are my bees going to do without their home or their honey?"

He hurriedly started to rebuild their home and put some honey back into their hives.

Of course the bees were away, did not see what had happened.

The bees failed to consider that there caregiver has taken good care of them all their lives and would never hurt them.

The bees saw the man at their broken homes.

The bees attacked the man who was trying to restore their homes.

The bees did not have time to think, they were acting out of emotions and stung him again and again.

The beekeeper said that is not fair -- the man who stole your honey has gone free, and you are attacking me.

THE BEE-KEEPER AND THE BEES

There was once a beekeeper that looked after a number of beehives together. We call such a collection of hives an apiary.

The beekeeper kept his bees for their honey, but like all good beekeepers he never took all the honey from the hives, but always left some for the bees.

One day a thief waited until the bee-keeper had gone off for his lunch and all the bees were out of the hives looking for pollen, from which they could make honey.

The thief was very greedy. He broke up the hives and took every scrap of honey that he could find. Then he ran off with it.

When the beekeeper came back he saw what had happened. He was very upset.

"My poor bees!" he cried. "What will they do when they see their hives broken and all their honey stolen? I must try to put things right before they get back."
