Benefits Of Acist Cvi For The Use Of Angiographic Imaging System Research Paper

ACIST CVi Angiographic Imaging System The ACIST CVi is an angiographic imaging system used to diagnose diseases and treat over 15 million patients globally. The ACIST CVi is able to simplify a contrast injection using all procedure ranging from small injections for a coronary artery to peripheral vasculature and a large volume injection for ventricles, which consequently enhance efficiency, safety, image quality, and control. The CVi system assists in improving procedural efficiency and image quality. Moreover, the system minimizes a radiation exposure as well as reducing the patient contrast dose. The CVi system also helps in reducing time to carry out imaging procedure, which is beneficial to both healthcare professionals and patients. (Ferebee, & Scoville, 2009).

Objective of this paper is to investigate the ACIST CVi imaging system and its benefits for the Invasive Cardiac Catheterization.

Benefits of the ACIST CVi imaging system for the Invasive Cardiac

The ACIST CVi is very effective for an invasive Cardiac Catheterization. A Cardiac catheterization refers to an invasive imaging that allows a healthcare professional to evaluate patients' heart. In other words, the cardiac catheterization is a medical procedure to diagnose as well as treating some heart problems. Physicians can use the cardiac catheterization to carry out a treatment because it is an effective method to view blockages within the coronary arteries since it delivers little or no pain for patients....

Nevertheless, it is very rare for the cardiac catheterization to cause a serious complication.
Angiographic imaging system is an innovative method to acquire medical images using a rapid and rotation imaging camera. Based on the rotational device of the Angiographic imaging, the imaging can be visualized from different angles and from different segments. In essence, the rotation arcs are predefined at 60 degrees at anterior oblique and 25 degree caudal orientation, however, the Angiographic imaging is able to cover 120 degree able to deliver high quality imaging in a matter of seconds. Typically, the Angiographic is used to identify and visualize peripheral vessel.

A report carried out by Business Wire (2015) reveals that ASCIT CVi is an effective tool that delivers a unique need for clinicians, and patients. For example, the technology provides the following system benefits: The ACIST CVi provides an easy and simplicity as well as innovative experience designed to provide versatility for clinicians and freedom for patients. Contrarily, the traditional contrast injection is a hand man-manifold where its image quality is dependent on a contrast media administered at a steady rate and the proper moment. However, acquisition of its quality imaging is difficult and is dependent on operator's experience.

However, the ACIST CVi provides an effective workflow and procedural flexibility…
