Thus, it is likely that language is across-fiber pattern since, unlike many primitive languages that are less complex (subject, verb, object), language evolved into complex patterns that have divergent meanings that require interpretation.
Part 5 -- If a new chemical had no odor, humans could still likely detect it based on the unconscious notion of pheromones in the substance. This could be sensed through the skin, other mucus membranes, or simply be sensed by the brain. There are a number of receptors that "sense" chemicals outside the nose.
