Re: beginning my own daycare business
Dear Mr. / Ms. X:
Over the years, I have followed your successful founding of The Gingerbread House Daycare franchise with great interest. Your organization has received great attention in the local paper for its commitment to caring for young people. Your 'brand name' for this particular daycare facility has also attracted notice amongst my friends and family for its quality, affordability, and its continued service for the working families of the community.
As the potential founder of a similar kind of small business myself, I am all too aware of the difficulties of soliciting appropriate financing for the endeavor, and of marketing the business in a way that can assure parents that they are leave their children in a safe, caring, and hopefully instructive environment while they are away at work for the day. I would be interested in the route that you went in terms of beginning to create the funding structure of your organization. Any information you would feel comfortable sharing with me would be invaluable. I would also be interested in any advice you could give to me regarding insuring the faculties of a day care center and the hiring procedures necessary to recruit quality personnel to watch the children during the day.
