Business Product Letter

To Whom it May Concern:

I am interested in purchasing your DiMAGE Xg digital camera. While I have read a number of reviews on the subject, I find them highly technical and difficult to understand. In order to make my decision on the purchase of the item, I would like to ask you four questions.

One review that I have read notes that the camera is a 3.2 mega pixel imager (Steve's Digicam Online). While I understand that a larger number of mega pixels means that the camera can take photos with better quality, I would like to know more about how the number of mega pixels translates to actual picture size. Specifically, will I be able to take photographs with the Minolta DiMAGE Xg that can be blown up to a 8x10 size? I like to display my personal photographs on the wall, so this is the minimum size that is acceptable.

Your website notes that the camera is small, at only 3.4 x 2.6-2-0.8 inches in size (Minolta USA). I am concerned that this small size may make the cameral potentially less durable than other, larger cameras. Do you have any comparisons between the durability of the Minolta Xg and other digital cameras?

Further, I am concerned whether I will be able to use the camera with my Apple laptop. Can the camera transfer digital pictures to an Apple laptop?

Finally, I would like some information on some specific special effects. Can the camera take black and white photographs? If not, can you tell me if the software that comes with the camera can convert the pictures into black and white.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
