However, the law of the Great Britain has the following roles. • The constitution identifies the rights of the citizens and the responsibilities of the state. In the case study, it is apparent that the law state how the power is shared in the UK. The main institution of the state includes the Judiciary, Government, and the Parliament. • The case study state when and why the citizens are punished. In the UK, when an individual breaks the law, he/she deserve the punishment. However, the constitution guarantees every citizen the rights such as freedom of speech, conscience, and thoughts.
