Treatments focus on symptom management, slowing progression, and enhancing quality of life through medication, psychosocial support, and rehabilitation.
Likewise, mild neurocognitive disorder also indicates a decline in neurocognitive functioning that is beyond an individual’s normal aging condition, but its symptoms (e.g, memory problems and attention difficulties) do not typically interfere significantly with sufferers’ daily functioning. The treatments for mild neurocognitive disorders include changes in lifestyle and evidence-based cognitive interventions.
