With the help of Archeology and modern technology, one can determine the approximate time when certain events took place in the past. While the present day archeologists find important information in the materials that they excavate, the archeologists from the future will be able to determine particular episodes which happened in the contemporary world. Postmodernism triggered a global change, with people in mostly every domain having changed their convictions in relation to life and to what it meant because of the movement. Because of the changes that Postmodernism has brought along, archeologists in the future will certainly realize that a major revolution took place somewhere in the twentieth century.

Even with the fact that the modern world is largely based on the experiences that humankind has went through in the past, matters have changed dramatically in the recent decades, as people experienced change both from a technological point-of-view and from a philosophical one. The most obvious change generated by Postmodernism can be observed in the architecture, as architects have adopted newer and more unconventional concepts.

Archeologists in the future will not only observe a change in the materials that they will excavate, but they will also find that people in the twentieth century had adopted a more diverse method of dealing with their lives.

Postmodernism has had people leaving aside their preconceptions in favor of newer and bolder theories. Mostly everything which served as an example up to a moment has been abandoned, since people had discovered new opportunities.

From the time when it started and until now, Postmodernism has constantly evolved and individuals have accepted it as being something which defines the present. Globalization has made it possible for Postmodernism to interfere with almost any kind of environment, regardless of its condition. Even though the movement has experienced having more success in the better developed parts of the globe, it is also present in third-world countries in domains such as art and philosophy.

The modern era lasted until approximately the end of the first half of the twentieth century, as the 1940s still had people subjecting themselves to the typical behavior of the time. With the new movement into place, people learnt that they had the chance to change their lives without anyone prohibiting them to do so.

Even though technology has begun to flourish decades before, the technology brought by Postmodernism was completely different from what it had been until the time.

Considering a team of Archeologists that would excavate a site where technology flourished during the beginning or the twenty first century and a site where it prospered during the 1940s, the findings that they would make is that the postmodernism movement had brought significant changes. For example, they would discover that newspapers describing the modern period and the industries thriving during the time had been nothing like the gadgets and the eccentric architecture from the present.
