¶ … Charlemagne Genghis Khan. Please language simple clear. Thank,

Charlemagne and Genghis Khan were two of the most notable leaders in all of history and by studying their behavior one is likely to observe traits characteristic to exceptional leaders. Both of them managed to rule over most of the continents they were born on by imposing their strategies effectively and subduing many large communities without even using violence in some cases. From the moment when they became leaders and until the last years of their lives these two leaders succeeded in putting across strategic thinking and to defeat most of their enemies with little to no efforts.

After the death of his father, Pepin the Short, Charlemagne became King of Franks and got actively involved in a campaign meant to reinforce his kingdom and to emphasize his power over the continent. Charlemagne's empire developed in the greatest European empire ever since the collapse of Rome. His series of victories in Western Europe and in Italy enabled him to become the first Holy Roman Emperor consequent to Pope Leo III performing an imperial coronation and thus changing the political system in Europe for years to come.

Reform occurred throughout Europe as a result of Charlemagne's success and politics and royalty came to be seen very different from how they were until the time. One of the most important aspects of his reign is related to how he was concerned about the good organizations of lands he was in charge of. "In much of what is today France, and especially in the south, the old Roman civitates (fortified cities) served as the focus of most important aspects of political, military, religious, and social organization" (Charlemagne). The fact that Charlemagne divided his territories and focused on their limits made it possible for him and for his empire to work more effectively.

In addition to the fact that he focused on territories within the borders of present-day France, Charlemagne also concentrated on other territories that he conquered through the years and imposed systems similar to the ones in the Frankish kingdom. "He divided newly conquered lands into pagi (districts), which were placed under the jurisdiction of counts who exercised the same kind of administrative powers of their counterparts to the west. Charlemagne also sought to establish these new pagi as dioceses" (Charlemagne).

Although most people would be inclined to believe that it is absurd to compare Charlemagne with Genghis Khan due to the latter's success in building what is known as history's greatest empire (there are disputes concerning the matter, but the fact that it is difficult and almost impossible to provide a clear assessment of the Mongol Empire's borders plays an important role in preventing experts from providing solid evidence). One of the principal differences between Charlemagne and Genghis Khan is that the latter started with nothing and managed to become much more powerful than the former.
