Our company is proud and pleased to have provided your fine school with unique and memorable chocolate confections in the recent past, and we eagerly look forward to a continuing business relationship with Big City Tech, a relationship that is mutually productive for both parties. Indeed, two members of our staff are recent graduates of the business department at Big City Tech, and the quality of their effort -- and their excellent work ethic -- is reflective of the quality of education your fine college provides to this community.

Meanwhile, let me respond to your request for our company to provide gift baskets with chocolate presentations -- each basket featuring a unique chocolate design specifically linked to the logos of eight baseball teams -- in five weeks. Unfortunately, as wonderful an idea as this is in terms of Big City Tech showing a classy welcome to the visiting teams, we probably don't have sufficient time to meet that request. However, Mr.

Thompson, our staff here at Big City Chocolate Company has come up with an elegant, exclusive and creative alternative proposal that we feel may well meet the challenge you have provided us. We hope you find our proposal uniquely suitable and appropriate for your very creative welcoming idea for the visiting baseball teams. We would commit to presenting each of the eight teams with a unique gift basket that contains one of our original chocolate designs.

In other words, each of the eight teams would have a gift basket that contains chocolates none of the other seven teams have. To make each basket even more authentically original, we will wrap each piece of chocolate (in each of the eight baskets) with beautifully done packaging with that team's logo printed in high-resolution color. And the baskets will be beautifully presented with each team's logo and pertinent data wrapped all the way around the basket (in heavy stock paper).

The baskets will each have that team's record in league play, the school motto, and the names of all the players and coaches printed in the wrap-around packaging. This adds class to the presentation, and is something that each team's coach will want to take with him after the tournament is over. The headline above the wrap-around printed presentation will read: "Welcome to Big City Tech -- Best of Luck in the Tournament!" I would enjoy a chance to meet with you, Mr.
