Marine current power is one of the most promising alternative energy sources in the contemporary society. The fact that the world is still addicted to using conventional fuels certainly makes it difficult for serious investors to put their resources into projects associated with alternative energy. The fact that harnessing kinetic energy from marine current power is relatively similar to harnessing energy from wind power means that investors can overcome a great deal of problems initially experienced as wind power was in its early stages.
