Chronic Disease Self-Management and Nursing Roles The scoping review on self-care in the third chapter of Doran's book and Zavertnik's article are clear, precise, and articulated based on the individual objectives to be outlined in the entire parts of the material. The scope covers all central concepts of the study. The scope covers all the selected study areas, notably the selected study populations and the targets populations. Nonetheless, the common difference between the two is that the Doran review offers a rather larger scope unlike that offered in Zavertnik's review (Zavertnik, 2014). Much of Doran's review is within the range of the study participants, rather convenient in nature (Doran, 2011). In contrast, the scope is dispersed in Zavertnik's review. The two reviews elicit the desire to influence audience not just within the periphery of its study but from all over the spheres of the world. The definitions are detailed since they highlight how practical self-care is occurring in any natural world involving people (Zavertnik, 2014).

However, Zavertnik's review defines self-care as an individual conception, which involves proper knowledge of self, observation of individual feelings and objectives, and living a life that is tended towards good health (Zavertnik, 2014). The two reviews are comprehensive and can be seen the best avenues into understanding the concept of self-care in any hospice. The common terms used here surround health definitions most of which are used in the medical field. The two definitions are clear, concise, and simple. Nonetheless, the definition by Zavertnik appears to have more elaborations and understanding, unlike the Doran review definition. Moreover, the two definitions offer examples to reinstate their meaning and their practical applicability with the Doran review definition giving more detailed practical unlike Zavertnik's review of definitions (Doran, 2011).
Question Two

It is a surprise to see the way everything to do with the nurses in the videos has some form of surprises to the audience. Personally, I am surprised by the manner in which everything the nurses do is extraordinary to the normal citizen. I would not be able to engage any understanding on how every nurse has been trained to eradicate every bit of discouragement that comes from the patients. In dealing with nursing in chronic disease self-care, the following "aha" moments are quite…

Chronic Disease Economic stagnation and poverty are important consequences and causes of chronic diseases in the middle and low-income countries. Approximately ninety percent of all chronic disease deaths happen in the middle or low-income countries. People in these nations develop diseases at a tender age, die sooner, and suffer longer than those in high income nations. Chronic diseases like obesity have a major economic impact on people and families: it

In the long-term treatment of asthma, the administration of inhaled corticosteroids is often useful in inhibiting the attacks from getting worse to the level of requiring emergency treatments. Among the various permanent treatment methods available for asthma, ICS has been proven to provide the best results in asthma patients regardless of age. It is the prevalent preliminary treatment approach for recurring asthma in juvenile patients. The first dosage of ICS-Rx

obesity is related to other chronic diseases like diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. The literature gathered has also indicated that there has been a reduction of obesity and overweight, which has made them less of a health goal. The researchers have established that majority of research concentrates on individuals and little research has been conducted to examine family members. This research has noted that there are people who express concern

Generic Drugs in Prevention of Chronic Disease The cost of healthcare -- including the cost of health insurance -- in the United States has gone up exponentially over the last few years. And when it comes to healthcare for those suffering from chronic diseases, the cost is often more than the patient can afford. But the use of generic drugs could reduce those costs and bring the overall cost of caring

diseases i.e. lung cancer, childhood leukemia, obesity and Alzheimer's disease. In each explanation, I have included a definition of the disease, risk factors, treatments, prognosis, and prevention. Later, I have provided short literature reviews of four articles. Lung Cancer Lungs are those organs in the body that help the human beings to breathe i.e. inhale and exhale oxygen. Their primary function is to provide oxygen to every cell in the body.

OPIOID EPIDEMICOpioid Epidemic: Is Addiction a Choice or Disease? From the onset, it would be prudent to note that addiction starts as a choice and slowly morphs into a disease. I will explain. To begin with, addiction could be deemed a choice at the onset owing to the fact that an individual could elect to either use or not use opioids. However, constant use of opioids results in a strong compulsion
