Politics Behind Climate Change and What Can and Should Be Done Climate change has been a major problem experienced by various countries globally. Many factors contribute to climate change problems experienced including manmade and natural factors. Many researchers in different countries have concentrated on studies with the aim of finding strategies that help in dealing climate change problem. From the increasing climate change problems, many policy questions are arising regarding the methods used in addressing the issue.

Different countries have directed more funds, climate professionals, and other resources to the approaches aimed at dealing with the climate change. With such efforts, no significant impact is felt from the commitment (McLean et al., 2016). Additionally, policy matters are the weakest part of all the approaches adopted and implemented when addressing the issue. Some of the questions arising include availability of the policies, their implementation, punishment to the policy offenders, civic education, and the availability of enough funds to enact and implement the policies.

With the increase in problems, many stakeholders are wondering whether the policies to deal with the problems are available. Many policies are enacted and implemented with the aim of dealing with the specific problem. Such a problem and question is not experienced in one country but in different countries globally. Most of the human activities like industries, land cultivation, burning fossils, and many other activities are happening globally without any measure to control such activities (Barker, 2017).

Internationally, little has been done to address such question arising from the growing climate change problems. Responsible individuals and authorities in different countries globally should assess the availability of policies and their impacts when dealing with the problem. If such policies are not adequate or inactive, more policies should be enacted and implemented such that the problem can be addressed to the expected standards.

Although the policies enacted to deal with the climate change problems are available, there is non-commitment in the implementation of the same especially from the major players like China. They have taken long to cut down their industrial emissions. The various human activities experienced fuel the climate change problems without any punishment being imposed on the policy offenders. Strict measures and commitments should be implemented to ensure that the policies available are implemented in different parts of the countries as per the policies available in each country (Shreck & Vedlitz, 2016).

In some countries, the punishment posed to the offenders of climate change policy is light because the violation never stops. The responsible individuals and authorities should enact severe punishments, which will deter the policy offenders from committing the same offenses in future. Civic education regarding the climate change policies is another question arising from the problem. Many people do not understand most of the climate change policies due to lack of civic education especially among the residents in the community.

When a policy is enacted regarding any problem or challenge, people should be educated for them to understand the about the policy and how it is implemented among them (McLean et al., 2016). Such policy awareness can be conducted easily through civic education in the communities through the responsible authorities. Due to poor implementation and enactment of the policies, many people are questioning whether enough funds are allocated to the entire policy enactment and implementation.

For the policy enactment and implementation to be successful globally, enough funds should be allocated to the entire process such that people can be educated, policies enacted and implemented and the process addressed without any challenge (Barker, 2017). From the rising climate change problems, measures to address the situation have dominated many global forums with the Kyoto Protocol being the notable event of reference. Climate change problem has categorized as the major challenge, which can be dealt with by a specific country but through the collaboration of all the countries affected.

In the international perspective, many countries have proposed that the questions posed by the problem should be dealt with research studies to assess the policies available and their effectiveness in the specific countries. After collecting such information, the next step is to propose more policies to be enacted and implemented to deal with the problem (Barker, 2017). Civic education among the people in the communities was another approach proposed by various countries when attending international relations meetings globally.

Climate change has been the major motion debated by political parties and other interested groups in the United States. Such concentration of climate change debate proves that climate change is a major challenge in the US as in other countries globally. The political parties and other interested groups in the US are focused on enacting and allocating enough funds to ensure that countries can limit activities promoting climate change like the emission of greenhouse gasses (McLean et al., 2016).

In conclusion, climate change is a serious challenge that countries globally are struggling to contain. As a result, stakeholders should focus on the measures to address the activities contributing to this menace. Since the.
