ATSE employees must meet and maintain the highest level of professional ethics and integrity, both in their character and in the specific performance of their professional responsibilities. The ATSE Code of Ethics outlines the ethical principles necessary to guarantees that all ATSE employees maintain the highest standards of personal character and professional ethics in performance of their assigned ATSE employment responsibilities.

Implementation and Development:

A-Team Security Enterprises is committed to security industry-leading professional responsibility in all phases and aspects of its business venture. As part of it comprehensive enterprise-wide focus on ethical business practices, ATSE has implemented the ATSE Code of Ethics. Since 2003, all prospective employees are advised of the high ethical standards that apply to all ATSE employees in connection with which they must consent to a full background investigation that includes any access to any information and/or records deemed relevant to ensuring their fitness of character.

All ATSE employees must participate in the ATSE annual Code of Ethics training, consisting of two 3-hour classes and a subsequent computerized evaluation program. Achieving a minimum score of 70% on the annual ATSE-COE evaluation is a necessary condition of continued professional employment at ATSE. Any confirmed violation of the ATSE-COE is grounds for immediate dismissal at the option of ATSE employment administration.

Honesty:

All ATSE employees must maintain standards of honesty in all aspects of their employment responsibilities. This provision applies to all operational elements of specific duties, record keeping, and to all communications between employees and their supervisors.

Criminal Conduct:

All ATSE employees must maintain standards of conduct commensurate with the sensitive nature of the security industry. Because ATSE business functions and services closely parallel many municipal law enforcement responsibilities, ATSE employees must adhere to all local, state, and federal law, both at work and in their private lives. The nature of the security industry is such that ATSE is adversely affected even by the mere appearance of illegal conduct on the part of its employees.

Accordingly, all ATSE employees have an affirmative responsibility to (1) refrain from any illegal conduct, and (2) notify ATSE supervisors immediately of any adverse contact with any law enforcement agency. For the purpose of this provision, "illegal conduct" refers to conduct off duty/off premises as well as to conduct on duty/on premises; "immediately" refers to the first working shift immediately following the adverse contact involved; and "adverse contact" includes any receipt of summons, complaint, notice of violation, and warning, as well as any request for information pursuant to any criminal investigation initiated by any law enforcement agency. This provision includes any contact or request for information or interview, irrespective of any formal accusation or custodial arrest.

This provision does not include civil complaints except those pertaining to or alleging fraud or dishonesty; this provision does include any accusation, whether or not it is ultimately substantiated, that involves domestic or custodial impropriety and/or any application by any person to restrict contact (i.e. judicial order of protection, restraining order, etc.) from an ATSE employee in any state, irrespective of whether or not said application is granted or sustained.

In the case of unsubstantiated accusations, requests for voluntary compliance or submission to interview on the request of any law enforcement agency, ATSE reserves the right to dismiss any ATSE employee who fails to disclose any adverse contact with law enforcement immediately, as required by this provision.

Conflict of Interest:

All ATSE employees must immediately disclose any potential conflict of interests with any performance of their duties or with any client, individual, or enterprise for whom ATSE provides security services. Potential conflicts include, but are not limited to, any prior employment relationship or personal association with any individual or entity representing or known to be associated with ATSE clients.
