Scenario

Technical writing is a domain that does not just involve people having to put across a series of data meant to inform and instruct people, as one of its main purposes is that of persuading the audience to use the document promoted by technical communicators. Technical communicators are less interested in providing their audience with impartial information, given that their main intention is that of presenting their arguments before their readers. In order for his or her writing to be more effective, a technical communicator needs to employ persuasion as a form of communication.

Scenario

Mobile advertising is a rather new advertising division and its efficacy is divisive, as people are apparently still attracted to conventional methods of being presented with marketing techniques. In spite of the fact that the small screens and text characters fail from producing the same feelings generated by traditional advertising in consumers, people are nonetheless influenced by mobile advertising because of other factors. Mobile advertising was found to induce a superior level of admiration and self-actualization in consumers. The marketing method is especially important because of the fact that it influences consumers in believing that the advertised product is actually useful for them.

People are emotionally attracted to products that convey high involvement, most probably because these products relate to characteristics such as value and accomplishment. In contrast, individuals are rationally attracted to products that are not directed at their personal beliefs, with these products being simply attractive because of their functionality. People are apparently influenced to buy a product if the mobile text they receive involves the respective product's description.

Scenario 3:

Privacy is a very controversial matter, especially in today's society-as people are unable to determine the extent to which their personal information can be legally accessed by others. Even though the law system is believed by many to protect privacy, it is actually less able to do this. In the modern era, people are desperate about taking care of their confidentiality, given that there is a multitude of methods through which individuals risk having their personal information accessed by others.
