Working Title: Honeymoon in Hell

Logline: Honeymoon in Hell is a rom-com with a heart about two young professionals who have the picture perfect relationship on paperyet beneath the surface there is a lot they have to learn about themselves and each other. Still, its nothing a little honeymooning in Hell cant help them to figure out!

Synopsis: Kate and Mike are two ambitious career-driven young professionals who want to impress their friends by taking the ultimate exotic honeymoon. The only problem is their honeymoon is on an island paradise that also happens to double as a hub for a massive drug-running operation.

Treatment: Kate is an ambitious career-gal in her late 20s; her new husband is Mike, same age and pretty much a perfect catch: handsome, suave, conservative, and rising in the industry. The biggest thing they have in common is their desire to best their peers in everything: in other words, they have the competitive drive of Michael Jordan. And their latest ambition is to take a honeymoon that will put everyone elses honeymoon to shame.

They hear about a small island in the Asian Pacific that is supposedly the most beautiful and exotic place on earth: waterfalls, aquatic life, paradiseyou name it, its there. Whats more, its next to impossible for anyone to get thereso even if one did want to honeymoon...…to force a confession by saying the other has already ratted on the other. Both are heart-broken and confused. Their drug deal friend, however, sneaks a message to each urging them to be of good hearttheir true identities have been confirmed and they will be released. Kate and Mike are last seen being released on a tarmac, seeing one another as though for the first time and realizing there is still a lot to learn about themselves and each other. The last scene shows their helpful drug dealer friend popping into frame to hug them both, saying, Mom? Dad? Ready to go home? Kate and Mike look at each other like, Oh…
