Based on the data in the table, it is clear that there are many crimes in the United States. The table shows five different crimes that people in the United States have committed since the year 1990. The United States is one of the leading countries in the globe with high crime rates. This is a fact considering the number of people the country has in prisons. The prison population in the United States unusually high compared to other countries. The United States has a very high population. The country has numerous states large population. The country also has many foreign people that come in the United States to seek better opportunities than that of their home country. The increased population makes the crime rates increase.
From the table, it is clear that crime rates remain high from the last two decades. Property crime remains the highest committed crime in the country. Violent crime is, however, on a significant drop from a peak rate of 758.2 in 1991 to 429.4 in 2009. There are many crimes committed in the country. The table shows that people in the United States commit crimes such as violent crime, murder, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, property crime, motor vehicle theft, larceny-theft and forcible rape.
Through the information from the table, it is clear that the common crime that many United States citizens commit is property crime. The table shows that large populations of the people commit crime. The lowest crime rate in the country is forcible rape. Data from the table indicates that, in the year 1990, 102-555 people committed forcible rape in the country. This figure has lowered to 88-097 people that have committed forcible rape in 2009.

There is a high rate of violent crime in the United States. The graph shows that the crime is common the United States. Since the year 1973, violent crime has been on the decline. The Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), and the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) provide data on the rate of crime in the country. The three agencies provide the FBI with relevant information about the rate of crime in the United States. The information provided helps the FBI in the fight against crime in the country. With this information, the FBI puts efforts to ensure that crime rates in the country lower.
