Research Finding
Data assessment is necessary when researching a particular topic. It involves some steps to help the researcher find the outcome of the data collected and its actions. Every step is essential in finding the results and when creating a plan. In most cases, the data analysis and the findings involve interpreting the data gathered to determine whether it meets the intended purpose. The data collected for the selected topics include data collection tools like; interviews, observation, documents, and records or questionnaires and surveys.
The first topic I am going to assess is Federal Prosecution of Human-Trafficking Cases. The data assessment was identifying research methods and evaluating them. The researcher began to identify a topic that most people do not fully understand about it covers. Then, the second thing was to identify the specific target area to carry out the case study, which was South America. With this, there was a need to understand fully what the topic of Human Trafficking entailed. This included identifying the most reprehensible acts that involve Human Trafficking among the others and the different charges against every act. After getting the information about the topic, the researcher formulated ways to stop child sex trafficking, the primary source of concern. Various elements were used for evaluation, for example, documents and records where there is a reference about the U.S attorney who had referred two thousand six hundred and ninety-four cases due to production of child pornography in the year 2011-2015.
The other data assessment process included selecting a research topic. This involved identifying the topic being analyzed, which was arrest-related death. The topic leveraged a program of individuals who had died in the process of arrest. Identifying reasons for selecting the topic is the other step; here, in this case, the researcher wanted to review and analyze the facts that are related to deaths. To back up this, some elements have been used as historical document records; for example, that of George Floyd was the example that was used. The other step is identifying scenarios where measures to prevent various acts applied to those who went against the set laws and policies. The example given is that of Franklin Roosevelt, who had given the order of detaining the Japanese in camps in 1942. Comparisons are then made with other places that have had similar cases that relate to the topic. Research questions were then developed to help in the research and finally, the hypothesis to identify the biases contributed by police behavior towards the minorities.
