Abstract

This essay talks about the Downfall of Oedipus and Othello. It makes the point that a lot of the time Humans really do feel this constant desire to have some kind of interaction with one another, in order to fulfill this need humans construct relationships. This paper give the researchers point of view on rather or not The downfall of Oedipus is the work of the gods; the downfall of Othello is self-inflicted

1. With Oedipus unlike Othello, relationships had nothing to do with his downfall or the by God.

b. Oedipus is a person that was quick to draw conclusions because of his insecurity.

c. However, worse he starts to develop a wicked association among two very improbable suspects because of his insecurity within himself.

3. It is clear that this lack of insight and understanding again is another reason why Oedipus' had a downfall which was self-inflicted.

A. Oedipus' tragic death was a wisely planned.
