A rapid growth of a country is influenced by three demographic processes which include mortality, fertility and migration. Age distribution is the percentage of the total population, or the population of each sex, at each age level. Focusing on the population of a country, age distribution is one of the basic ways to understand population change over time. Understanding age distribution yields insights into changing phenomena and highlights future social as well as, economic challenges. The graph below represents age distribution vs. percentage of population.

Peel does not critique explicitly the implicit violence within capitalism, as these authors do with respect to racism and economic exploitation, nor does he do a good job of placing the economic context of suburban Australian poverty with a global or colonialist perspective as he could have by emphasizing less the positive aspects of multiculturalism and more the negative aspects of cultural stigmatism within capitalism. An example of a business situation where the probability distribution may be utilized is a scenario where a manager attempts to predict employee retention. The statistical test would be a binary logistic regression analysis. The probability distribution is paramount to this example because it utilizes the dichotomous dependent variable of Yes/No (employee stays/employee quits). Independent variables that may be used to predict employee retention include education level, length of employment,
