Organization

The Snohomish County Children's Commission is a Washington state institution meant to deal with promoting the rights of children and on providing them with assistance they need in order to effectively integrate the social order. The organization has twenty-five members and two of them are adolescents, as this makes it possible for them to reach out to young persons more effectively. The institute reaches out to children with the purpose of making them better prepared to deal with sexuality in general. It provides sexual education by teaching children concerning the attitudes they need to employ with regard to this topic in order to be able to avoid coming across significant problems.

The group provides advice meant to assist children and adolescent in making the right choices throughout their lives. By concentrating on adopting a more personal attitude toward its cause, the institution effectively communicates with young people and makes it possible for them to be more experienced in dealing with situation that might damage their health.

Organization 3

The Seattle Institute for Sex Therapy, Education and Research promotes the idea that sexuality can be perceived as a positive concept in people's lives. The institution's "purpose is to assist people to explore and discover their own sexuality and to support them in finding ways to meet their needs." (Welcome to Seattle Institute!) The group emphasizes the fact that there are not enough in the state of Washington that are directed at dealing with adolescents and the way that the come to perceive sex.

The group also deals with adolescents who are victims of sexual exploitation, as it is meant to provide these respective people with the attention they require in such situation and with the ability to overcome their problems by taking on attitudes that are more probable to reflect positively on themselves and on their health in general.

This institution is aimed at assisting adolescents in being able to overcome problems they experienced as a result of being abused. It concentrates on creating an agenda that people can use with the purpose of experiencing sexual recovery. Adolescents are likely to experience trauma as a result of being abused and the Seattle Institute for Sex Therapy, Education and Research effectively uses treatment strategies and assists individuals in being able to reintegrate the social order.

Organization 4

The Sexual Exploitation and Intervention Network of Snohomish County cooperates with government actions such as the Child Sexual Predator Program in an attempt to alleviate the effects of sex trafficking and abuse on teenagers. "The group has been meeting for several years to adapt existing social and health services for at-risk youth and victims of child sex trafficking." (Hefley) Many of the young people who are taken into the program require particularized treatment on account of their condition.

Adolescent sex trafficking victims are difficult to deal with because the authorities have problems connecting with them. Many of these respective victims are either hesitant about cooperating with the authorities or are unable to understand the significance of the experiences they went through.
