Mission, Vision, And Values of Healthcare Organizations

This paper discusses four healthcare organizations in the best way about their missions, visions and value. The featured four healthcare organizations include Nightingale Home Care Inc., Scripps Home Healthcare, Sharp Home Health Care, and Vitas Hospice. This discussion seeks to compare and deliberate on these three specific areas of management about the organization. Some of the important aspects with which the company seeks to deliberate on the matters at hand include the issues of leadership and how the same seeks to deliberate in making work potentially possible. In this case, the stakeholders of interest are the patients who are the recipients of the services offered by these hospitals.

Differences in the Selected Organizations

Nightingale Home care's mission is to assisted San Diegans achieve quality healthcare through environmental alteration and modern technology. This mission is coined out of the desire to set an example that is far beyond reproach as compared to the services set by the rest. The management of the company seeks to develop an understanding of the clients and meet their concerns within the range that they desire. Nightingale is the pinnacle of healthcare provision in San Diego, and it is looking forward to living up to this position and expectation of the people. Sharp Home Health has a mission to improve the health of those they serve with a commitment to excellence in all they do. This is backed by the management's attitude towards regaining lost control over the market that in up for grabs. To this effect, the organization seeks to meet the highest standards of health provision as need be. The most important issue with this is the fact that the institution recognizes the need to have an understanding of the factors surrounding the institution. Vitas Hospice Healthcare is on a mission to offer the highest quality of human services, products, and case management to terminally ill and other appropriate patients in the area in which it operates. Scripps Home Healthcare has a mission to put the patients first and commit to quality in their services. This has the option of helping the patients to meet the needs set by it. Patients are in all cases seen to be benefiting from the injection of efforts to improve their welfare.

The Relationship between The Mission, Vision, and Values

Nightingale has the vision to expand into more areas and acquire the better capacity to meet the demands of the patients. This idea of meeting the needs as set out by the management has met the organization's long-term needs. Scripps Home Healthcare is moving towards a vision that will see it meet the expectations of the market. In contrast, Sharp Home Health Care has the vision to attain the best services meant to bring order and sanity into the health industry. It seeks to attain this through the adoption of better equipment for use. The same vision is shared by Vitas Hospice, which has the vision to be in touch with clients by meeting their specific needs and serving them right.
