¶ … start off by saying thank you for all your help and support throughout this summer term. I really appreciate your assistance. However, I would like to express my thoughts and concerns about the final exam. In particular, I found the final exam to be overly difficult in its organization and in its terminology. Some questions on the exam were unclear. I also found that the sheet that you allowed us to bring in was of no help at all. After the many hours and dedication that I had put towards studying and preparing for this exam, I feel quite frustrated. After consulting with some of my fellow students, I discovered that I am not alone in this assessment.

Also, I appreciate the fact that Professor Wong instructed everyone to shut off their cell phones, but the instruction should have applied to everyone including the exam monitors. One monitor had her phone ring twice during the exam, which also frustrated our performance on the test.

In addition to problems with the exam itself, the TA was unusually unhelpful during this crucial week. For example, some of my classmates and I visited him and he assured us he would get back to us. But during exam time, he would not answer my questions. Furthermore, many of us students need to know the results of the exam before we decide whether or not to take STATS 2 and the TA has thus far been unwilling to take calls or return e-mails.
