The concept of environmental psychology has an interest for applying the principles of design that can be made as an important structure in the environment according to Davis (2011). This can be in the form of architectural design and infrastructures that involves the study of artistic expression that aims to change the view of the environment by integrating human design in the field of art as an instance to the study. Basing from the article, there are significant changes in the society that has been affected by the environment because it played an important role for facilitating human activities and current way of living.

In addition, the presence of diseases is another environmental psychology that affects the physical well-being of an individual due to the presence of external factors such as pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganisms.

As an environmental stress, the article states that there are significant environmental issues that impacts humans by creating damages and changes. The presence of pollution is harmful to human as a threat or health risk for human beings as well as with the ecological environment around the world because of the toxic fumes and chemicals that can be contained in the air, land, and in water. In connection with health care, the presences of communicable diseases are one of the major concerns in the society because it has the capability to infect others that increases the cases of morbidity or even mortality rates. The presence of high rise building structures can be at risk for hazards especially when an earthquake will strike that will cause fatalities, injuries, and damages to other properties. The use of technology can bring significant impact to the society particularly for the students because it contains features that can allude the concentration of students that should be focusing to their studies, which is a bad habit because on the possibility of having negative impact to their grades as claimed by Evans (2007). The advancement of the society could affect people's life by phasing out traditional cultures and heritage that is one of the most important studies in the field of sociological sciences that is a negative impact. Furthermore, the existence of advancing technology affects the role of the climate to change such as becoming warm and produces significant storms that are severe and devastating to a particular community and causing damages to properties and destroying human life. The rise in the human population is another factor that is negatively impacting the environmental psychology because this event pushes through for invading other ecological territories and causing other species to become extinct due to human consumption.

There are also benefits that can be attributed by the presence of environmental psychology especially for transforming human's daily routine and activities. The presence of technology such as the use of computers is an important facility that establishes accessible and affordable communication pattern with interactive features that makes connects people closer together even if they live in different locations. Edgerton (2009) stated that the formulation of medicine and vaccines is a significant improvement for the society for the reason that it helps to decrease the prevalence of disease and promoting the health of all kinds of individuals and communities all around the world. As an environment, appliances are electronic devices that are used for households such as for cooking, storage of foods, to heat water for safe drinking, for cleaning the house, and to provide adequate lighting indoors and outdoors. Environmental psychology improved the knowledge and skills of human being as new generation takes place to implicate new ideas and applications that is beneficial to human activities such by studying about engineering. The learning environment helps people to learn new skills and to establish new talents and knowledge to become more productive in the society by having more qualities in order to be hired. In addition, the presence of technology is helping the environmental challenges to restructure infrastructures that will improve the structure of the environment to protect people from unwanted incidents such as natural calamities.
