¶ … Adjust the Marketing Mix
Customer priorities, preferences, and needs are crucial factors that have considerable impacts on the success of a product. In light of the increase in the number of mini bikes and motorcycle developers, customers' priorities, preferences, and needs include customization of products, affordability, uniqueness, and quality products. These priorities, needs, and preferences have considerable impacts on the marketing mix because of the need to meet them. In this case, these factors are used to shape product development processes and pricing strategies for increased productivity. This implies that the firm's marketing mix process is shaped by customers' expectations and preferences.
If Braaap is to offer additional products and services, evaluation of the marketing mix should be carried out. In this case, the company would need to determine the pricing of the product to ensure it's cheaper than competitors while ensuring high product quality and affordable. This process would also entail determining the demographic of the product's targeted customers and utilization of effective and attractive promotional strategies.
9. In order to achieve success and increased profitability, Braaap focuses its practices on operational and strategic marketing objectives such as quality of products and services, customer loyalty, and availability and costs of motorcycle parts. Based on the firm's long-term objectives, the most suitable marketing mix is price competition, mass media advertising, intensive distribution, and product diversity. This is because product diversity helps in reaching a wider target market whereas intensive distribution enables customers to access the products and services anywhere at their own convenience. Mass media advertising helps in creating awareness of Braap's products and services to a wider population while price competition generates competitive advantages over rivals.
10. Braaap has achieved tremendous success and productivity because of its production of quality, affordable, and unique motorcycles that meet customers' expectations and needs. The company's success can be attributed to the use of customization strategy that enables customers to select motorcycles based on their preferences. However, the firm's pricing strategy for rental motorcycles should be tested as part of its pricing variables strategy.
11. Adjusting some of the components of the organization's marketing mix could generate significant effects in relation to consumer response and market factors. One of the elements that could generate significant implications is pricing since the firm is renowned for producing high-quality affordable motorcycles. An increase in the prices of its products would force customers to look for alternative cheaper products from Braaap's competitors and probably contribute to lower prices in the market.
12. In response to test results, adjusting components of Braaap's marketing mix is crucial to help in achieving the long-term objectives. The pricing strategy should remain the same since current pricing policies meet the desired objectives and are regarded increasingly affordable by customers. Braaap should develop new products that target other consumers other than the current target of customers between 20 and 35 years. A wider target market would help in enhancing its customer base as demonstrated in its long-term objective. In light of the need for additional product, the company should also adopt pull strategies for product promotion in which customers are directed towards the brand through mass media campaigns ("Marketing Mix," 2014). Since the firm currently provides it products to different customers in different places, there is no need to change it place strategy in the marketing mix. Given these strategies and objectives, there is no need for further adjustments to meet these requirements.
