Evaluating the MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro (CNET, 2012)

The MacBook Pro-has been through many evolutions and is offered in a range of sizes and specifications. The pro-series offers a significant improvement in a range of factors when compared to less functional products in different lines. One of the main upgrades to this line is the processing power. Apple has given its top-range laptops a little more power, adding new processors to its Mac Book Pro-series computers. The primary purpose of this is to make the machine more capable to run complex programming that includes software that is tasked to do photo or even video editing. Previously it was necessary to have a desktop computer to provide the space to have the components necessary to run these types of programs.

However, there are many more additions to the new version of the MacBook Pro-as well. New generation processors have been added to Apple's latest upgrade of its Mac Book Pro-range of laptop computers, which also fit longer-life batteries into the same compact design; they are also available in same three sizes - 13, 15 and 17-inch - the Mac Book Pro-range has an LED-backlit display, a glass Multi-Touch trackpad, illuminated keyboard, an SD card or Express Card slot, and a FireWire 800 port - the 13-inch model now features Intel's Core 2 Duo processors, and a new NVIDIA Geforce 320M graphics processor; It has 4GB of RAM and is available in two configurations one with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and a 250GB hard drive, and the other with a 2.66 GHz processor and 320GB of space (Anonymous, 2014).
