Modeling and Analysis of Submerged Arc Weld Power Supply Based on Double Closed-Loop Control commences with the article's abstract, which briefly summarizes the core elements of the piece. It states that two methods were developed:

In the case of Baoshan Shi, Kuanfang He, Xuejun Li and Dongmin Xiao however, the approach was a different one. Specifically, the four editors commenced their endeavor at the premises of the already existent circuits and they experimented with them in order to create new findings, rather than test already existent hypotheses.

Their endeavor adds more value to the fields of mathematics and engineering as it has a dual significance. On the one hand, the study is valuable from a theoretical standpoint as it deals with theoretical aspects and finds a theoretical conclusion. The authors finally find that "double closed-loop control can improve dynamic characteristics of arc welding power source, which can meet request of SAW technology."

As a parenthesis, most research endeavors also have the academic advantage of being based on through research of the available literature. In other words, the piece is only accessible to those highly specialized in the field.

On the other hand, there is the practical significance of the study, which could support the development of the industry. Specifically, when engineers comprehend and apply the lessons promoted by Baoshan Shi, Kuanfang He, Xuejun Li and Dongmin Xiao, they would be able to improve the performances of the arc weld power supply, to as such support the development of human communities.
