Global Warming Reduction
Global warming is caused by human activities of burning solid waste, wood, and fossil fuels, release of hydroflurocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) from industrial processes, and deforestation (Rey, 2011). Burning fossil fuels, such as oil, natural gas, and coal puts greenhouses gases that affect the atmosphere. The industrial processes increase heat more than normal and when released into the air, it gets trapped into the atmosphere. And, deforestation allows carbon dioxide to be released into the atmosphere that also causes the global warming.
As the human population grows, so does the demand for housing that uses more trees, the number of vehicles that are operated that release more greenhouse gasses, and more demand for industrial processes that also release more gasses into the atmosphere...
All these gasses going into the air and land are harmful to the atmosphere and cause the global warming of the earth. As a result of the global warming, the earth's temperatures are increasing more every day.
Trees absorb the carbon dioxide by 20% (mtrguanlau, 2011). Planting more trees can help to decrease the carbon dioxide that is released into the atmosphere. Trees are also useful to reduce electricity costs used from air conditioning by 15%. Tree planted around a home can block some of the harmful UV rays that cause the home to heat up. It is important to protect the forests to create more effort to control the carbon dioxide released in the atmosphere.
Looking for ways to reduce the use of electricity reduces the gasses released into the atmosphere from industrial processes. Unplug appliances when not in use. Even though it is not turned on, it will still use a certain amount of electricity. Turning off lights…
He sees it as a warming trend which will eventually reverse itself as the solar cycle's peak in the next 1500-year (Singer and Avery, 2007). This coupled with the fact that humans have never before been able to scientifically measure these cycles, shows that global warming is a theory without merit. Other scientists disagree with the global warming and cooling trend theory and posit that the recent warming in the
Global warming has become an issue of major global concern. This research explores the complexities of the issues surrounding global warming and the development of models to help curb the human contributions to its continuation. This research focuses on the UAE and its initiatives to develop sustainable cities in the future. Evolution of Cities environmental change and Global warming Field Work and Case Studies Back Ground The United Arab Emirates (UAE) covers an area of
Scientists are unable to determine the amounts of gases that will be released into the atmosphere because the early studies on permafrost melting are no longer accurate. The melting of the permafrost does not only affect the environment because of the gases that it releases, but also, because it would lead to the erosion of the Arctic coastlines. This would have a devastating impact on the industry present there and
Ecology Global Warming: From Milutin Milankovitch to Greenhouse Gases Global warming is one of today's most pressing issues. Though some dispute its existence, the great majority of individuals - scientists and lay people - do believe that the Earth is undergoing an unnatural warming. Hot summers, freak storms, melting glaciers, and other signs all seem to point toward a shift in the kind of weather enjoyed by many regions of the globe. Much

By studying this history, one can quickly understand fossil fuels are in such short supply. Although they have been around for millions of years, they have been in use for thousands. Fossil Fuels' Uses While it is common knowledge that fossil fuels are used as energy sources and in a variety of material productions, the degree to which fossil fuels are used on a daily basis is monumental. Both oil and
