How important were the G20 meetings in April 2009 or the one that took place this past weekend to you? The G20 meetings are important since G-20 plays an important role in strengthening international financial architecture and fostering sustainable development. Therefore the meetings are geared towards working between advanced and emerging economies in order to tackle international and financial crisis, restoring financial stability worldwide, leading international economic recovery and ensuring a secure sustainable future for all countries. The meetings all ensure that these objectives are achieved

Do you follow the outcomes and issues of the meetings of global organizations such as the G20, or the Climate Change meetings? Yes, I do follow such meetings since they tackle issues that affect everyone in the world hence their outcomes are quite important.

What do you think the motivations of the anti-globalization protestors were in the various places where there were anti-G20 rallies and demonstrations? Anti-globalization protestors were motivated by the fact that they want to fight for rights of groups of people that are deprived in terms of resources and hence they cannot compete with the rest of the world. They therefore were fighting against competition which these groups of people cannot counter.
