With the progress in every field and application used on the computer, the Microsoft Office has not been left behind; in fact it has advanced to the point of almost having a monopoly in the applications that are being used on the computer. All of Microsoft Office applications are not only advanced but are more user friendly too, making life easier and simpler for the user of any of its programs. The connection of the Microsoft Office software with the internet is inexplicable; they are faster in speed due to similar programming rules and techniques used for each software and include new features that add color not only to the look of the program being created but also in function. Plus, less RAM is consumed when working in multiple applications with the hard-disk slots conserved to a larger extent.

With the advancements made, the Word software also has been improved with superior adaptors now being used for the analysis of WordPerfect and previous papers that had been saved on the software. The feature of the automatic grammar checking and spelling check (a.k.a. The IntelliSense element, also used in all other applications) has made the Word document particularly, as well as the other applications, popular and widely used soft wares.

Microsoft, in addition, has added the feature of manifold "undo" and "redo" commands to the Excel sheet program, borrowing it from the Word document software which had the command consistently in it. Additionally, Excel at present utilizes the natural language formulas that enable the program to mechanically grasp the column and row title and allow the user to employ the names rather than the undefined complicated formulas, which was previously the case.
