While many of the funds granted to this department have been designated for more weapons and technological equipment, this part of the environment has been ignored.
By remodeling the men's locker room several key goals and objectives are reached. The most important goal is that the police have place to work that is clean, comfortable and represents high standards. The locker room is a very important place where police can save valuable time and are able to socialize with their fellow workers.

Police Ethics Ethics, therefore, is not something that a policeman learns in the classroom -- yet, training classes are regularly scheduled -- and this picture of student not understanding why he is in the classroom is indicative of the problem of police ethics as a whole (Crank, Caldero, 2011). There is no established, realistic connection between policing and classroom ethics. The world of the streets is a different from the world

Female Police Officers and Maternity Leave Female police officers, much like female firefighters and females in the military, are a fairly recent development and evolution in history that was long overdue and met with some resistance initially. For example, the police response to Occupy movement was widely viewed as disproportional and unnecessarily violent, and it is precisely leftist movements like Occupy that the police would need in order for a strike to be successful. However, even if a contemporary strike were not successful, it seems likely that it would not end with the police being fired, but rather with nominal concessions on the part of the city
