¶ … Company has prepared this mini-handbook to provide you with a very brief overview of its policies and rules. It is intended to familiarize you with all of the essential information about the company as well as to provide guidelines for your employment tenure here. Please understand that this checklist merely highlights company policies and benefits for your personal understanding and cannot be construed in any way as a legal document. It is intended as a source of general information about the policies governing our employees and is not intended to be an express or implied contract or to create any liability for the company. Specific questions should be directed to the management for direction on specific issues.

Non-Discrimination Statement:

The Company wants all of its employees to be able to work in an environment that promotes complete diversity and freedom from any kind of discrimination or harassment. The Company's policy reflects Federal EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) and is spelled out in the poster posted on the Company common area walls entitled "EEO is the Law ("eeo is the law," 2008)." We will provide equal opportunity to all employees/applicants and shall not discriminate on any basis as prohibited by law, including, but not limited to, race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, status as a married person or as a veteran. The company will allow employees called into active military service an unpaid leave of absence as well as reemployment rights as provided by the laws of the United States.

Employees should bring any violation of this policy to the immediate attention of their supervisor or the company president so that the Company can punish any or all violators of this very important policy. It will safeguard the privacy of the employee, according to the law. Both of these policies will have a no tolerance policy in terms of allowing willful violations of its non-discrimination and harassment policy.

Employment Status Definition:

All employees of the company are employed on an at-will basis meaning and that all employment can be terminated at the will of the employee or the company at any time. No cause is necessary and the job tenure can be terminated by either party with or without notice.

Nothing contained in the company policies, procedures, handbooks, manuals, job descriptions, application for employment, or any other document of the company shall in any way create an express or implied contract of employment or an employment relationship on other than an at-will basis. No representative of the company will enter into any agreement whatsoever with any employee or applicant for employment on any other than on an at-will basis.

Training and Testing:

The company will provide paid training and testing that is related specifically to the employee's job. The only exception to this will be testing that involves part of the initial pre-hiring process.

Receipt of Mini-Handbook:

I have received the current company employee handbook and have read and understand the material covered and I understand that any future questions that I may have about the handbook or its contents. Questions will be answered by the Office Manager or their designated representative upon request. I agree to and will follow the policies, procedures, and other guidelines set forth in the mini-handbook. I understand that this handbook nor and of its contents are an express/implied contract regarding my employment tenure with the Company.

By signing and initialing below in front of a witness, the employee acknowledges their understanding of and acceptance of the terms and conditions as expressed herein.
