The expression of voice to emulate the reality that prevails in the cultures has always been a subject of consideration. Like many other liberal and freedom loving societies the American society is also classified under the header of the countries that appreciates and promotes the freedom of speech, but yet many a times the societies fail to grant the due rights to many of its dwellers and as a consequence they may press their voice so as to bring a sophisticated change in the society at large.
It is a well established fact that the youth across the world has been seen as the architect of the future globe and keeping this fact in mind the states of many nations are working to eradicate all sorts of evils and injustice pertaining particularly to the youth. In this attempt to ensure a clean and healthy environment for the youth and future generations, the concerned agencies have tied their backs to work iron handed against the social evils and deviators that affect the feeble and vulnerable minds of the youth.
But on analysis of the positive and the negative consequences of the hip hop music and the relative change and commercialization the trends of the hip hop music and its degree of acceptance is changing drastically. The positive approach to understand and realize the importance of the hip hop music is that it supports the modish approach in understanding the prevailing circumstances of the society. As a matter of fact the news media is although serving the purpose of educating the people with the current scenarios that may impact the life of the elites in one way or the other, but the competitive advantage that the hip hop music have over the traditional media is not bounded to regions and origins but this music can be utilized by the rappers in conveying the desired message effectively (Rose). The concept of keeping it real has been used by the rappers so as to sustain the momentum of delivering the truth about the crude and crucial black urban life of the posh cities. But the basic point that goes in the favor of the anti-hip hop school of thought is the cultivation of immoral and illegitimate language in the society. The critiques argue that the degree of openness and the usage of slang and unacceptable language is a direct danger to the civil society and the morals of youth.
Apart from the negative consequences the hip hop music is also regarded as a consequent of destruction in the society. At one point it is acceptable that the openness in telling the truth should not be criticized particularly in the societies that advocate the rights of freedom of speech and expression, but the need of the hour is to tame the behaviors and commercialization of the rappers. As a matter of fact the corporate that seeks profitability at all costs from the environmental settings sounds totally ignorant to the implied and expressed impact of the social corporate responsibility.
The commercialization of the hip hop music has taken the deep roots in the cultures across the world, now one rapper does not sells his so called true story in his own domain only but the fact is rather more surprising that these fabricated and insane stories are commercialized and are used to generate profits from across the world this aspect of the hip hop music rather, modification of the essence of hip hop music is a stance of destruction in the society.
The concept of keeping it real is applicable to my artist's album in a number of valid ways. Initially because of the fact that my company has a valid set of standards that can distinguish between the commercialization and the essence o keeping it real. The basic reason why I would like the artist of my company to produce a hip hop music album that chants the cliche of keeping it real is that I want to create a difference in a way that the market of the music across the world can understand what it should actually mean when it says keeping it real. Keeping it real is the essence of the entire music industry but a unique selling point of the hip hop music because this music was originally design in a way that it can eradicate the social evils by communicating the real stories in a format that will appeal the masses.
