Talent Management Consultant Brief

Derek Palmer

Derek Palmer is currently a partner with Innovation Point, which is a firm that works in a number of talent areas on a global scale. Palmer is adept at speaking multiple languages, and he was worked in 100 countries with deep engagement experience (Palmer, 2014). His focus is on product innovation and breakthrough strategy. His education came from the University of Lancaster in England and the University of York (Palmer, 2014). Because Innovation Point is a very non-traditional consulting firm, Palmer is well-versed in helping companies achieve important breakthroughs that can grow the topline and create more innovation for people's business models. That allowed him to rise in his field, and gave him the opportunity to grow and develop as a talent consultant. When consulting is focused on growth, companies are better able to move forward and develop everything they need in order to be successful (O'Mahoney, 2006). Those companies can only do that if they have the right people at their helm, and if they have the proper consultants who know what needs to be done.

Palmer is such a consultant, and his proven capabilities indicate that he has the hands-on experience that companies need when they choose a consultant for their business. With his ability to speak French, German, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish in addition to English, Palmer can be a global asset to any company (Palmer, 2014). Companies that want to succeed understand the value of having consultants who are able to properly converse with many business partners in their native languages, as opposed to needing translation services (McKenna, 2006). Palmer knows about strategic planning, innovation training, workshop facilitation, executive education, and strategy development, among a number of other things. He would be an excellent addition to any company, and a valuable consultant.

Joe Frodsham

Joe Frodsham is a graduate of Brigham Young University with both his bachelors and masters degree, and is currently the founder and principal of JBKF Group, LLC (Frodsham, 2014). He is also a human resources leader who is focused on results, and has a strong history of developing and implementing solutions that are deeply strategic and highly successful. He is a published author and a skilled presenter on topics such as development, talent, and the effectiveness of an organization (Frodsham, 2014). Frodsham specializes in assessing talent, retaining employees, developing careers, coaching, and HR strategy, as well as executive leadership. His published work includes the Make it Work book, and a number of published articles. He is a life member of Phi-Kappa-Phi Honor Society, and is hired regularly as a speaker. His dedication to his work is focused on human resources, and helping people become the best versions of themselves possible, which is an excellent way to help a company move forward.
