ABC and Co. has a position open for the following designations.

Job Title: Corporate Ethics Officer

Reports to: Managing Director

Based at: Los Angeles, California

Job Purpose: Identifying the key corporate ethics values of the company and devising a code of conduct for the company that incorporates the ethical values in the company's long-term strategic goals so as to take the rights and safety of stakeholders in to consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

The Corporate Ethics Officer should be able to take all organizational aspects and stakeholders into account and identify the corporate ethical values.

The Corporate Ethics Officer will be responsible for devising a code of conduct that incorporates all ethical values identified earlier and implement the code of conduct in the organization.

The Corporate Ethics Officer will be responsible for developing training programs and training the employees about organizational health and safety and ethical business practices.

The Corporate Ethics Officer will be responsible for monitoring health and safety standards in the organization pertaining to employers, employees, customers, third party vendors and any other relevant stakeholders.

The Corporate Ethics Officer investigates and reports any other violations or breathes in the health and safety standards by any employee in the organization.

The Corporate Ethics Officer will be responsible for submitting regular reports to the organization's top line management about the standards of business ethics practiced by the organization and give relevant recommendations.

Eligibility:

The candidate must be of age not more than 45 years old.

The candidate must possess an MBA or Masters degree in a relevant discipline.

The candidate must have at least five years of experience in employee training and organizational ethics.

The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The ideal candidate must be able to differentiate between right and wrong and must be able to make quick and fair decisions (Barth, 2003).

The company has grown and is known around the world for its high corporate social responsibility and strict adherence to ethical business practices. Today ABC and Co has employees that belong to various different cultures and demographics and on various occasions they are required to work and co exist with each other (Sim, 2003). Keeping this in view, ABC and Co. is launching a global ethical training program where the employees of the organizations will not only be trained to deal with organizational stakeholders from different cultures and demographics but also various organizational aspects of business ethics such as health and safety (Boyd, 2003).
